Synopsis
Presented by SCCC and ATTEMPTS, get ready for an hour of toilet terror where YOU become the detective in this blend of immersive participatory theatre, hide and seek, and scavenger hunt – all taking place in a public toilet! Navigate this haunted zone of emotional residue and memories to uncover cursed objects, unravel mysteries and confront the unknown.
She’s in the Third Stall is a site-specific piece of immersive and participatory theatre that includes elements of hide and seek, and scavenger hunt – all taking place in an actual public toilet in Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre!
In this performance, audience members become operatives recruited by the fictional ARC (Anomalous Research Corporation) and tasked with entering a damaged paranormal field, referred to as “the container”, to retrieve four cursed objects.
Through the lens of urban haunting, ghostly female myths, and youth trauma, She’s in the Third Stall blends East Asian ghost logics with interactive performance while confronting the unspoken struggles of modern youth: invisibility, pressure, abandonment, and silence.
